Sustained Engagement & Community Trust
For residents of El Amrawy and surrounding communities in Alexandria, access to medical care can make a lasting difference to everyday life. One of the Rotary Club of Cairo Sky’s longest-running service projects, the El Amrawy Medical Convoy has built an enduring relationship with the community, providing support throughout the year and bringing together medical expertise, volunteer commitment, and financial contributions.
The annual convoy is a focal point of this ongoing work, offering residents access to consultations, treatment, and specialised services. More recently, fellow clubs across Rotary International District 2451 have joined the effort, strengthening the project’s capacity to reach more people and respond to a wider range of needs. This collaboration builds on years of service and a shared belief that sustained engagement can help communities access the care they need.
Through the project, members and partners contribute their time, skills, and resources to an initiative rooted in local needs and strengthened by lasting relationships. With the next annual convoy scheduled for December 2026, the Rotary Club of Cairo Sky and its partners continue their commitment to accessible healthcare and practical community service, helping individuals and families lead healthier lives through ongoing support that extends well beyond the convoy itself.
